*** Thanks to all our wonderful customers for a great 2012 apple season ***

We are closed until the 2013 harvest season begins...
We'll open next June/July with peaches, nectarines, plums and blackberries
and then swing into apple season with Gala and HoneyCrisp apples beginning in August.

Thanks again to all our friends who travel each year to our orchard.
We enjoy seeing everyone and sharing our harvest with you.
Enjoy the winter months and we'll see all of you again soon at Dickie Bros. Orchard

*******

Come visit Dickie Brothers Orchard
which has been in our family since England's King George II granted
the land to our family in 1750.

Yes, it's true, our family has been farming this land for over two centuries...
262 years!

Tommy and John Bruguiere are the seventh generation to manage Dickie Bros. Their parents, Tom Bruguiere and Emilie Dickie Bruguiere managed this beautiful farm for over four decades and live here on the farm. Occasionally, you will see Emilie riding her horse around the farm during apple harvest.

We grow 15 different varieties of apples. We also grow peaches, nectarines, plums, blackberries, sweet potatoes, pumpkins and much more.
(Loring Peaches are available in late July.)
We also raise beef cattle, have Saddlebred horses, and various colors of Labrador Retrievers running around the orchard.

Nestled against the eastern edge of the Blue Ridge in the Appalachian Mountains, the cool mountain air gives our apples great color and excellent flavor. The view from our orchard is the envy of almost anywhere in the United States, especially when the fall foliage is in full color and the apples are fresh on the tree.

So we invite our customers to "Pick Your Own Apples" all season and experience nature's beauty here with our family, at Dickie Brothers Orchard.

Harvest begins early July and ends the 1st week of November.

We invite you to stop by our orchard and buy some fresh apples, view the Blue Ridge, picnic or simply spend some time picking your own delicious
Dickie Brothers Apples.
